I think it must be there in every Indian citizen's mind but I thought I should just put it down in a paper. Right now its 12:33 am in the morning and I have just finished watching a news channel. I must write this that I am not very happy citizen with the way things have happened late. The way Election commission controversy has been erupted is not good for democracy in anyways as it is a foundation of democracy which should be away from the influence of corrupt political parties. The response from the government which I believe has been presented to the
public in technical jargon of constitution is not helping the cause very well. But the issue which I want to focus is not about who would be the next CEC(Chief election Commision) as it is very clear from the governments stand.

The issuse which I want to focus is not related to Indian constitution or any governments policy blunder. Since general assembly polls are announced and as any other responsible citizen I am in touch with the present political Mahabharat

Some days ago I just happen to read an article in which it is said that left can think of a fresh relations with congress but that will be decided after the polls and this is the part which I am failed understand. Hence I am writing this post to ask from people to please help me in understanding this calculation.

Take a case of West Bengal and think from the voter's point of view. Lets say voters are not satisfied with the ruling party's governance which is leading the nattion. Now here is a party which has just broken alliance with the ruling party and has shown strong opposition to the
policies made by ruling party. Since it has broken its alliance with it voters put its faith in this one of the opposition party and votes for it. now this opposition party has won some seats in West Bengal. Now the voters think that central government will change as it has voted for the different party. But they both come together and form an alliance between them again. As both have contested polls against each other., voters comes out as a shear looser.Voters have voted for a change and this is what the voters get . The same government is back in power because of opportunist and greed of parties. the same case is applicable to other states as well where parties like Samajwadi party party fights election against congress and supports congress after polls desperately to somwhow be in power in central government as it has no chance to come back to power in state elections .

I think its high time that people should raise to the occasion and understand the mathematics behind these political parties and vote for a party which is not full of contradiction . I appeal to the political parties to place themselves in a such a way that voters can diffrentiate between them which will help them to narrow down on selecting the party .

Well said Pawan. I completely second this view of yours on the Indian politics. These netas tend to manipulate the voter to any extent possible. The change is not actually a change!! Its afterall an earning game for the political parties.

Sometimes I wonder if we should have a bi-party system in India.

Perfectly right buddies. These political people are hayword i.e they can swing in any direction and aimless regarding to common man's catering to problems and they cant keep a word. Every politician thinks of making to the hot seat by stepping on the heads of common man.

We are World's largest Democratic Country in books only and in reality we have so many discriminations and griviances that are politicilised and explioted.

We need a Change. We can bring a Change by Being involved in the Change.
